I am a teaching artist, actress and writer. I’ve been a story director for WOL for five years and have helped over 50 books get published! I am the playwright/performer of my solo piece, ‘Ghost Dance’, which premiered last spring at the Bridge Street Theatre. I’ve been nominated for an Innovative Theatre award, and was a semi-finalist for Primary Stages Echoes Writers Group. I hold a BFA from Marymount Manhattan College and am pursuing her MA in Shakespeare with The University of Birmingham.

My favorite story is THE GOONIES! A ragtag crew of kids just trying to save their town from being bought out by an evil corporation? Also they are looking for treasure. Also there are pirates?! Just an all around, good vs. evil, excellent story.

What I would say to someone who hasn't tried Written Out Loud yet is to just take a breath and jump in. The people here are kind, we will welcome you and your creativity with open arms. We live for this stuff! Come on over, we are waiting for you!
