Soman Chainani
Soman Chainani is a bestselling author and filmmaker best known for his hit fantasy series The School for Good and Evil, which has captivated readers around the world and been adapted into a Netflix original film. A graduate of Harvard University and Columbia University’s MFA Film Program, Chainani blends timeless fairytale traditions with sharp, modern storytelling. His books have been translated into dozens of languages and have appeared on the New York Times Bestseller list multiple times. Beyond writing, he works in film and screenwriting, continuing to craft imaginative, powerful stories that explore the balance between good and evil, friendship and destiny.
