I fell in love with stories and storytelling at a very young age. I can never pick favorites, but some stories that have been on my mind lately are The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Good Omens. I like them because they remind me that a sense of humor, a little empathy, and some flexibility go a long way when things don’t go according to plan.

My favorite story is THE GOONIES! A ragtag crew of kids just trying to save their town from being bought out by an evil corporation? Also they are looking for treasure. Also there are pirates?! Just an all around, good vs. evil, excellent story.

I love stories as a way to see, understand, and even change the world. My favorite story is Anne of Green Gables.

Writers who have influenced her include: Judy Blume, Jude Deveraux, V.C. Andrews, Octavia Butler, Stephanie Meyer, Charlaine Harris, Joss Whedon, William Nicholson, Shonda Rhimes, Quentin Tarantino, Tyler Perry, Mike Kelley, and J.J. Abrams ... just to name a few.

My favorite stories are fiction fantasy stories. I love reading about far away lands with magical characters. Sometimes a book can take you to a new place and I love that feeling. Fantasy books are great because you get to venture somewhere new every time you read one ...

My favorite story is When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead, because the characters are relatable and the time travel plot works well because of how you figure out everything alongside the characters ...

Some of my favorite stories come from the Marvel universe--especially Spider-Man! I love how expansive the universe is, with such a diverse cast of hero and villain personalities, and seeing different versions of the same hero with a divergent backstory, personality, and motivations makes for such creative and engaging situations.

One of my favorite plays is Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl. Through her writing she makes everything magical while creating a conversation with her reader/audience that is incredibly inspiring.

My favorite novel series has to be Harry Potter because of its creativity, magic, friendship, humor, and life lessons.

Growing up I loved stories, imagination games, and movies but having undiagnosed ADHD and a learning disability, I struggled in school and couldn't read! That all changed the summer of my 5th grade year when I heard The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe (from the Chronicles Of Narnia book series by C.S. Lewis) ...
