I'm currently majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Creative Writing at San Diego State University. I've taken part in Written Out Loud several times as a storyteller and I'm excited to pay it forward to the next group of people!

My favorite story is When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead, because the characters are relatable and the time travel plot works well because of how you figure out everything alongside the characters.

To people who have not experienced Written Out Loud, you will find a lot of people who share your interests (even if it's just one thing in common) and you'll get to bond with everyone else over all of the great ideas you come up with together.
