I am a writer and educator, and I'm delighted to continue to be a member of Written Out Loud for almost four years now. My plays and written work have been performed at La MaMa ETC, Pete's Candy Store, Irvington Theater, The Tank Theater, Château Orquevaux and Purchase College among others. I currently live in New York City. MFA Playwriting: Columbia University.

One of my favorite plays is Euarydice by Sarah Ruhl. Through her writing she makes everything magical while creating a conversation with her reader/audience that is incredibly inspiring.

Once one of my shy students finally felt brave enough to speak up and share their work with me and the class - it was a beautiful moment and the class was extremely supportive. I always try to encourage my students to share and speak up when they feel comfortable and safe to do so, and that most importantly they have a voice. It was wonderful to see this lesson come to life during class.
